JOB TITLE: Process Development Scientist REPORTING TO: Technical Support Manager MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: - To identify critical manufacturing processes for development.
- Evaluation and analysis of data from process monitoring.
- Further development of critical biological processes with a view to improve technical performance of product and to improve the efficiency of the current processes.
- Perform and assist in additional duties as may be directed by the Technical Support Manager.
PRINCIPAL QUALIFICATION REQUIRED: Degree or Diploma in a Biological Science. WORK EXPERIENCE: - Experience with ELISA assays
- Analytical testing in a laboratory.
- Previous experience in process development is desirable.
- Experience working in a GMP regulated environment.
- Trouble shooting assay methodologies.
- Writing validation protocols
KEY SKILLS: - Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic understanding of biochemical principles
- Analytical laboratory skills
- Ability to function effectively as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of laboratory safety
